Eli is growing

Like kids do, Eli is growing SO fast. He was 10 months yesterday. He'll be one year at the end of 2008. He's been sick for about a week. It's just a bad cold. I thought he was over it a few days ago, but it was just hiding for a day and now it's back. He's a mess, but still a happy little guy!

I HIGHLY dislike cars!!

Hate is a strong word. But I HIGHLY dislike having to fool with cars. Gas, maintenance, repairs. It's just part of our daily operation, though.

The engine in Charles car needs replacement. It won't pass emissions without a new and the renewal is only 3 weeks away! It would cost more to get a new engine than the car is worth if it were in good condition. And I must say it needs a few more things to be considered "good." Hmm??

So, I think we should get something else. The Vic is a gas hog, too. A little pick up would be great. And probably less than the new engine! USED, of course.

Let me know if you see a CHEAP (and I mean CHEAP) car/ truck that Charles could fit it. No Neon's or Cavaliers for him. :)

Nothing, really

Hi All,

Just a general update. My lap top was down for a couple weeks on and off. That is where I have all my blogs bookmarked. So I haven't been up on everyone else's. I'm going to try and find them all again and bookmark them on the desk top. (Yeah, in my "free time").

Andrew is asking to go back to karate, we'll see. It's a good winter sport. Eli is all over the place. We love being outside in this weather. And we can turn off the A/C and just open the windows, yay!

And new life! About 10 days ago my friend Jennifer had baby #7, a little girl! And my friend Lan had her second baby about 4 days ago (her first daughter is 18), another little girl! I am I living vicariously through them, since they have girls? Maybe a little.

And here are some pics of the boys. This blue and brown outfit of Eli's was the first time he wore an "outfit" in a long time. It has a hoodie and I even put on some little puppy booties. Hehehe.
